Ileana cervantes obtained her Masters degree as a physician assistant through Western University of Health Sciences and is a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on certification of Physician Assistants since 2005.

Ileana was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and grew up in Santa Maria, CA. She moved to Los Angeles for her undergraduate where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.

She has training in family practice, urgent care and worker's compensation injuries. She regularly attends conferences regarding hand surgery at the National Meeting from the American Society for Surgery of teh Hand. She is fluent in Spanish. Ileana works very closely with her supervising physician when providing care to patients with diverse hand injuries and assists in the operating room in complex cases.

She is married and her favorite activities are camping, hiking, snorkeling, and spending time with her family and dogs.
